Beyonce has announced that she is pregnant with twins with a record-breaking Instagram post. Later this year, Jay Z and Beyonce, who are already parents to 5-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, will welcome baby number two and three. The “Halo” singer shared a beautiful picture where she is kneeling on a bed of flowers wearing lingerie to show her baby bump. She used the caption to explain how happy she and Jay Z are to be expecting two babies.
She wrote: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over.” The 35-year-old entertainer went on to say: “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”
The photo quickly went viral and broke the record of likes ever obtained by a person; it previously belonged to Selena Gomez. The announcement has amassed almost 8 millions likes, and half of a million comments.
Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, posted a heartwarming message about her grandbabies. She wrote: “WOW, I don’t have to keep the secret anymore. I am soooo happy God is so good twin blessings. Thank you for all your well wishing beautiful messages. I appreciate them soo much.”
A few hours ago, Beyonce unveiled a series of pregnancy-inspired photos where she looked like an ethereal queen. She posted a never seen picture where she is in the hospital after giving birth to Blue.
In another, she is sitting on the top of a vintage car decorated with flowers. Blue appears in many pictures dressed like a mini-goddess, kissing her mom’s baby bump, holding bouquets, or just standing and looking cute.
Beyonce channels Venus in a few of the shots by diving under a pool in beautiful garments baring her bump. There is also a series of picture chronicling Jay Z and Beyonce’s love story.
She tagged the photos, “I have three hearts,” and wrote a poem that read: “girl turning into woman, woman turning into mother, mother turning into Venus.”
